### **Flonicamid + Chlorfenapyr: Insecticide Combination**

**Flonicamid** is a selective pyridinecarboxamide insecticide that disrupts feeding in sap-sucking pests (e.g., aphids, whiteflies, thrips) by blocking their stylet penetration. It has systemic and translaminar activity with minimal harm to beneficial insects.

**Chlorfenapyr** is a pro-insecticide/miticide (from the pyrrole class) that becomes active upon ingestion, disrupting ATP production in mitochondria, leading to cell death. It controls resistant pests like spider mites, thrips, and caterpillars.

#### **Key Features of the Combination:**
– **Broad-spectrum** control of sucking and chewing pests.
– **Long-lasting** due to different modes of action (IRAC Groups 9 & 13).
– Effective against **pesticide-resistant** populations.
– Used in **cotton, vegetables, and ornamentals**.
