**Trichlorfon + Phoxim (Insecticide Combination)**
**Trichlorfon** (organophosphate) inhibits acetylcholinesterase, causing nerve overstimulation and paralysis. **Phoxim** (another organophosphate) acts similarly but with faster knockdown and residual activity. Together, they enhance pest control in crops (e.g., cotton, vegetables) and livestock (ectoparasites). Effective against chewing/biting insects but highly toxic to bees/aquatic life. Requires strict pre-harvest intervals (PHI) and protective gear due to cholinesterase inhibition risks. Not for resistance-prone areas.
