### **Lambda-Cyhalothrin (5% EC) – Pyrethroid Insecticide**

**Mode of Action:**

– **Sodium channel modulator** (IRAC Group 3A) – Causes nerve hyperexcitation, leading to rapid paralysis and death.

**Target Pests:**

– **Helicoverpa**, **Spodoptera**, **aphids**, **jassids**, **whiteflies**, **beetles**.

**Key Benefits:**

– **Fast knockdown** & broad-spectrum control.

– **UV-resistant** for longer field persistence.

– **Low mammalian toxicity** (but highly toxic to fish & bees).

**Crops:** Cotton, cereals, vegetables, pulses.

**Dosage:** 1.0-1.5 mL/L (foliar spray).

**Note:** Often combined with neonicotinoids (e.g., thiamethoxam) for enhanced efficacy.
